Gut Flora and Osmosis

For one of my clients today I got to write about gut flora and osmosis.  Gut flora – you know, those helpful little bacteria(i?) that live in your stomach and help you get your food where it needs to go? Yea, that was an interesting experience, since I was eating my lunch at the time…But I also go to write about cell membranes, which was totally cool, and made me flash heavily back to being in high school and being in biology.  I remember Dr. Collins’ office, on the fourth floor of our very American Gothic science and math building, and just how it was totally something like Professor Trelawny’s office from Harry Potter – just as remote and just as eccentric, with plants dripping off of everywhere, strange biological models and skeletons hanging around.  Oh those wild days of my youth, dissecting fruit flies, etc…

In other news, I have a list 1000 miles long of projects to complete and have only scratched one off of it.  It goes as follows:

- Finish the last three articles in my series on Microsoft Project for Bright Hubs

- Write about Sustainable Lumber for one of my clients

- Blog about some sweet shoes for ShoeMinx

- Finish my submission for the “My Resolution” book for Chicken Soup

- Finish my submission for the Fairfield initiative “Wisdom of our Mother’s”

- eHow it up…I’ve made $10 from that site this past month, which is exactly double what I made the month before, and leads me to believe that the more I put in (which amounts to like what, 25 minutes of work every few days?) the more I will get out, and get out in passive income, which let’s be honest is totally sweet.

So I’m off to either research sustainable sources or lumber or find some celebrity to gossip about… :)
