At the encouragement of AC Gaughen and Shawna Coronado, I am happy to announce that the Great December eHow Experiment is officially on!
In my last post I shared my awe with you about how some people claim they can make $10 a day in residual income off of sites like eHow, and in the end decided I would give it a whirl. Now I am encouraging you to join me in this endeavor – the worst that can happen is you may make a few extra dollars a day instead of $10…I have been writing for eHow casually for a few months and I’ve made over $40 during this time from basically taking a few minutes to do a little “how to” article and throwing a picture on. I see the possibility for earning is really there, and I want to invite you to discover what that is with me.
Setting up an account with eHow is very easy, just to to their site: www.ehow.com, and register with a username and password. Be sure you sign up with the Writer’s Compensation program if there is that option (it might just sign you up itself). You may then begin to start writing as many how-to articles for them as you like. My username is “Isolde,” if you want to look up the kind of work I’ve done for an example – these articles can be as in-depth or as shallow as you like. My understanding is that it isn’t necessarily the quality of the articles, it is the volume. So I am going to be blitzing my account with new articles as much as possible, at the ambitious rate of 5 a day because I want to hit 100 articles before the end of the month to give the results time to accumulate. I think it would be fabulous if we did this as a group and could share our tips, tricks, and status throughout the month. Maybe as a unit we can figure out how to crack the secret of residual online income and then move on to another site and try this method again, like Associated Content. Work at Home Mom makes over $1,000 in residual income from sites like this a month…if she can, then so can we!

What a great idea – but five articles a day? Hope they only have to be a couple hundred words…anyhow, sign me up – I’m in!
I’ve just checked the FAQs, and eHow only pays members who reside in the United States =(
So while I’ll be watching the eHow Experiement with a great deal of anticipation, it will be purely from the sidelines.
