Well, the numbers have finally come in for January, and I now officially have the first full-month update for the Great December eHow experiment for those who are interested in learning the truth about residual income sites:
Total Amount of Articles on ehow: 73
Total Amount Earned in January: $30.78
Per Day Earning Rate: $.99
Sweet…! I am almost up to one dollar a day on eHow, and I am planning to do a few more articles early this month to hopefully kick the daily rate to $2+ for February (I know, I know – I say I’m going to add new articles every month…this time I’m serious!).
This is good – an extra $30 for basically doing nothing this month is $30 extra dollars for bills, fun, or maybe getting my taxes done. Worthwhile? yes! And my hopes for next months, and the months after is very high.
For those of you who are interested in earning at Bukisa, I did place a few articles on there early in December and have earned a bit. here are the Bukisa numbers:
Total Articles: 13
Date started: December 12, 2008
Total Earned: $.95
So that’s not bad, considering the articles I added were slightly altered versions of eHow articles. With some effort Bukisa shows promise for another good residual income generator.
There you have it, Uncommoners – a very positive update, that I hope can inspire others to explore residual income sources.
*Note*: The Great December eHow Experiment for February will be posted at Want To Freelance – don’t forget the site will launch on February 13th!

Interesting comparison with ehow/bukisa. Do you remember how much you earned in your first month at Hubpages, or your first month on eHow? I’d love to see the comparative numbers!
Way to go on the $30!!
