About

The Life Uncommon

The Life Uncommon was founded in May 2008 by writer Nacie Carson as a blog to chronicle her journey quitting the corporate rat race.  As the blog gained popularity, the discussion on the site shifted to the broader topic of authentic living, celebrating those who pursued their own path and the relationship between an individual’s vocation and their sense of personal truth.

Today, The Life Uncommon is a vibrant, diverse, and supportive international community focused on exploring the art of lifestyle design and finding fulfillment through personal and vocational development.
